John Cena and Cody Rhodes React To The Rock and Travis Scott Ditching WWE Angle

John Cena says he and Cody Rhodes never wondered what could have been and focused on what needed to happen.

Cena was the latest guest on Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About? podcast. During the interview, Cena commented on The Rock and Travis Scott’s absence in their WWE storyline during his heel turn. Cena addressed the fans’ reaction and criticism of the storyline falling off, noting how The Rock and Scott never paid off the tease after the Elimination Chamber event.

Scott was reportedly training for a match involving Cena and Rhodes, while The Rock’s involvement during Cena’s heel turn run has since been reported as just being done for shock value. Cena said that he and Rhodes never reflected on what could have been, but instead shifted focus to what needed to happen in their absence.

“Hey, you have The Rock and Travis Scott. Awesome, we can plan all this stuff. [Then it was] Hey, you don’t have those two guys anymore. Not once, not once, did you and I ever—not once, the whole world has had this conversation about like, ‘Well, what would it would have been like if the two guys in it with their dick in the dirt, not once, had a conversation about ‘Man, what would it have been like if we had those guys?’ No, it was, ‘OK, what do you do next?’”

Logan Paul said Travis Scott no-showed the event where a match would be announced

Logan Paul recently revealed that Travis Scott no-showed a WWE event that was supposed to set up a six-man tag earlier this year.

“We were supposed to team up with one other person,” Logan Paul revealed. “It was supposed to be a three-on-three. And the day that it was supposed to be announced, he didn’t show up. And I think what happened is, my guess is he probably realized at some point that it’s really physically demanding, really hard, and a lot of work.

WrestleVotes later reported that the match Paul mentioned was scheduled to be Cena, Paul and Scott teaming against Rhodes and The Usos at Money In The Bank.
