Name your favorite tag team. Chances are, The Infantry is their favorite tag team.
Shane Taylor Promotions have reigned as ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions since August 2025. Two of the stable’s members, AEW’s Shawn Dean and Carli Bravo, spoke to WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard about their rise through the ranks of AEW and Ring of Honor.
Both Bravo and Dean, also known as The Infantry, are confident in their abilities, priding themselves on having larger-than-life personas while continuing to get better.
“We really are as good as we say we are. I’m an in-ring animal, Cap is a technical wonder, and we do what we need to do. That’s really the biggest thing I want people to take away — we’re stars for real,” Bravo said. “You can throw us in the sky, and we shine bright. I’m larger than life, and Cap is right there with me. That’s it.”
Dean echoed his partner’s thoughts, noting how they might have a bit of a chip on their shoulders, but it’s due to earning everything they get.
“We just want people to understand that when you’re talking about your favorite tag team, if we’re not on that list, you’re tripping. If we’re not in your top 10, you’re tripping,” Dean said. “We can go with anyone. And this is a testament across pro wrestling — no matter the side of the track, we are your favorite tag team’s favorite tag team. We’ve been told that by so many people — people we look up to, Hall of Famers, current champions — you name it.
“We’re people’s favorite tag team because of who we are and what we do. And I just want more people to understand that. We’re not going to stop. We’re going to make sure everybody knows one point: you’re going to know that we’re them. That’s what it is. And yeah, it’s going to happen.”
