AEW Veteran In Talks With TNA — Report

AEW veteran Bear Bronson is reportedly in discussions with TNA Wrestling about joining the company.

Bear Bronson, best known for his run as part of the Iron Savages, has been absent from AEW and ROH programming for months. His last major appearance came the night after he lost the ROH World Championship to Bandido at Dynasty in April.

Bronson did not appear on AEW or ROH TV again after the release of his former tag partner, Bear Boulder, earlier this year. Boulder was arrested for domestic abuse. Bronson later expressed frustration about his situation, saying he felt he was being punished for actions that weren’t his.

In June, he confirmed that his AEW contract had expired, officially making him a free agent. Since then, he has kept himself busy by wrestling regularly across the independent scene. According to a new report from Fightful (via Fightful Select), TNA Wrestling is now showing serious interest in bringing Bronson in.

TNA reportedly has several contracts coming due soon and the promotion is looking to add new talent. Sources told Fightful Select that TNA has already had conversations with Bronson and hopes to use him for their upcoming El Paso tapings.

However, several within TNA said they are optimistic about signing him if everything goes smoothly. Bronson has been working an intense independent schedule throughout the year, wrestling nearly 90 matches.

It was noted that an AEW source recently confirmed the company has interest in possibly bringing him back as well. With both TNA and AEW reportedly considering him, Bear Bronson may soon have multiple major opportunities.
