A WWE Superstar has told DarkState what has been on the minds of most wrestling fans for quite some time.
Ever since making their NXT debut earlier this year, DarkState have left nothing but destruction in their wake. Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, and Osiris Griffin managed to cause havoc in TNA as well when they interfered during Leon Slater versus Je’Von Evans at Bound For Glory.
That being said, DarkState has failed to get Ava to play by their rules. She’s the NXT GM, after all, and what she says becomes law. Ava recently revealed she’s working on a mini-series and asked fans if they had any questions for her or another NXT Superstar.
The post prompted a response from DarkState’s Osiris Griffin, who mocked Ava’s NXT leadership by asking how they could get a new general manager. Ava wasn’t having any of it, firing back by calling DarkState “Walmart Shield.”
Fans have compared DarkState to The Shield, pointing to their presentation and booking on the third brand. Much like The Shield, DarkState has found success early in their run, capturing the brand’s tag team championship just four months into their debut. They reclaimed the titles for a second time from the Broken Hardyz at NXT Halloween Havoc this past weekend.
