What was IShowSpeed doing at the WWE Performance Center? The social media sensation has the internet buzzing with his latest involvement with the sports entertainment juggernaut.
According to Fightful (via Fightful Select), Speed was at the WWE PC on Monday filming content for his new show, Speed Goes Pro. The report further stated that former 14-time World Champion Randy Orton is training the popular streamer to see if he has what it takes to become a WWE Superstar.
“IShowSpeed posted and posed for a number of photos at the WWE Performance Center. Speed was at the WWE PC Monday, filming for his new show Speed Goes Pro. A number of wrestlers attended the premiere for the program, which has already started its rollout,” the report said.
“Speed is working directly with Randy Orton, who will be training Speed to see if he can compete as a WWE wrestler. This is the premise of the show, as Tom Brady was featured in the first episode. Orton was also at the WWE Performance Center today, and based on what we heard, it was expected to be the third episode of the season.”
WWE open to IShowSpeed competing in a match
The report noted that WWE is open to Speed competing inside the squared circle, but Fightful hasn’t heard of any specific plans for the social media sensation.
“WWE has remained open to him competing in a match in the future, but we haven’t heard of any specific plans for such.”
Speed is no stranger to competing in a WWE ring, having appeared as a surprise entrant during the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble Match. His spot, which saw him get speared by Bron Breakker, broke company records on social media.
