Toni Storm called her former AEW rival Mariah May cold-hearted, but said she is a fan of Blake Monroe.
Storm and May had a long-running, intense feud in AEW that included three standout matches. Their final encounter took place this year at AEW Revolution and ended with The Hollywood Ending in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
Following this match, Mariah May transitioned to WWE. Now known as Blake Monroe, she is making a significant impact on WWE NXT. Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, Toni Storm was asked about WWE counter-programming and whether she keeps tabs on other wrestlers. She was specifically asked about her famous feud with Mariah.
“Well, you know, we’ve all had relationships like Mariah, haven’t we? That end in broken glass, fist fights, bloody kisses. What can I say about Mariah? God, she’s the single most evil, cold-hearted I’ve ever met in my life. I can honestly say that. I’m glad that I’ve banished her. I really did compromise her to a permanent end, but I’m a big fan of that Blair Blake Monroe.”
Storm also mentioned that she occasionally checks in on what Blake Monroe is doing in WWE. “I’ve seen a bit, but, I don’t like study it religiously. It’s wonderful.”
