Torrie Wilson admitted that the bikini contest with Sable at WWE Judgment Day made her feel uncomfortable during her career.
During her appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, WWE Hall of Famer Torrie Wilson admitted there were moments in her career that pushed her beyond her comfort zone. She recalled the Judgment Day bikini contest with Sable in 2003, where Vince McMahon initially wanted her to use body paint like Sable had done before.
“Yeah, there were a couple of times one in particular, the Judgment Day pay-per-view bikini contest against Sable. Originally, Vince wanted me to do the hand paint on my boobs, like Sable had done in the past and I just, I didn’t feel comfortable doing that. So, I was like, how about rhinestones that barely cover my nipples? Don’t ask me why. That felt a little safer than the paint.
Looking back, she said being in a thong bikini in front of live crowds still makes her cringe. “But looking back, I’ve only seen myself in a thong bikini a few times out in front of the crowd. And those times really do kind of make me cringe. It just seems like a lot. And then sometimes, you know, you can see kids in the crowd and it just feels like this is wrong.”
In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Wilson became one of WWE’s top stars. She often took part in storylines that pushed boundaries, many of which would be seen as questionable today.
