Tyler Breeze made a shocking return to WWE NXT, immediately setting his sights on the North American Championship.
WWE NXT featured a flag match between Canada’s Ethan Page, the North American Champion, and the USA’s Tavion Heights. Heights won the match after hitting Page with a super belly-to-belly suplex and capturing the U.S. flag.
Following the win, Heights grabbed the Canadian flag and placed it on Page. As Heights held the U.S. flag at the entrance ramp, Tyler Breeze’s music hit. Breeze entered the ring, where Page who was still down, and took a selfie with him.
Tyler Breeze, one of the original stars of NXT brand, is now set to face Ethan Page for the North American Championship next week at NXT Homecoming, marking the brand’s return to Full Sail after five years.
WWE NXT Homecoming will also feature The Grayson Waller Effect segment with Oba Femi vs. Ricky Starks and a tag team match with Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams against Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa.
Additionally, Fatal Influence will take on Stephanie Vaquer, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, and Rhea Ripley in another high-profile match. WWE also teased an appearance of Women’s tag team champion Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair.
