Paul Walter Hauser To Compete At ROH Death Before Dishonor

Paul Walter Hauser is set to be in action at ROH Death Before Dishonor.

ROH Death Before Dishonor will take place on August 29, 2025, at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The show already features Bandido defending the ROH World Championship against Hechicero, as well as Athena defending the ROH Women’s World Championship against Mina Shirakawa.

Lee Moriarty is putting the ROH Pure Championship on the line against Xelhua under Pure Wrestling Rules. Furthermore, a new match has been added, pitting QT Marshall against Paul Walter Hauser in a Fight Without Honor. Their rivalry began at AEW Revolution when Marshall threw a drink on Hauser. The two have been going back and forth for the past several months. Now they will settle their feud in this intense next weekend.

Paul Walter Hauser makes great argument for Chris Jericho on pro wrestling mount rushmore

In June, Paul Walter Hauser made an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show. During the interview, Hauser named the four stars who would be on his Mount Rushmore. “My Rushmore goes, Sting, then Bret [Hart], then Ric [Flair], and then [Chris] Jericho. A lot of people nowadays hate him because it’s like, his wife voted for Trump or something… Let’s take 30 seconds to go through the career. Proving himself, Canadian Stampede, like Wrestling, the Hart Dungeon, or whatever. Mexico. ECW. Japan. WCW. Created an amazing character in WCW, where he’s super abnoxious from ’97, ’98. Has the Goldberg-Gilberg thing. Has Ralph as his manager. Bangers with Dean Malenko and Eddie Guerrero, and all these guys.”

“Comes to WWF. One of the great pops of all time. His ‘Break The Walls Down’ Jericho showing up… Has the run in WWE, which is, I guess, it would have been ’99 through 2018, is that right? 2017? That is a long **s time to stay relevant, and capture all those titles, and have classic matches with Shawn Michaels, and Kevin Owens. In a tag team with the Big Show, Jeri-Show. I think the stuff with the Festival of Friendship and the clipboard and being on the list is some of the best sports entertainment promo stuff ever.”

“Some of the best stuff from the last 10 years for sure. And he is a huge part of why AEW exists and was taken seriously. What he’s done there, and then in Japan, and going into the Painmaker, and having the ‘bit of the bubbly. Having the musical number with MJF. I think he’s easily a Rushmore guy… The promos, the matches, the pre-tapes. It’s like, there aren’t that many people who can do all of the things well. He’s done all of the things well, whether anybody likes him or not. And I think he deserves to be on some Rushmore.”
