One of the popular Japanese wrestlers is former WWE Superstar Sareee. After parting ways with WWE, The Sun God has been one of the top stars in NJPW and STARDOM. In recent days, the current IWGP Women’s World Champion has been greeted with a lot of boos from the STARDOM crowd.
In her recent interview with Fightful.com, Sareee opened up about what she feels about being booed by the STARDOM crowd. During the interview, she also claimed that there is tension between her and the STARDOM roster ever since she challenged the World of STARDOM Champion Saya Kamitani.
Sareee mentioned that no matter how the crowd or the STARDOM roster treats her, she will still continue to do what she is doing. She also stated that she is very confident about herself, her experience in the ring, and her training, thus she will not change who she is.
“I am only doing what I believe in, and I have great confidence in myself from experience and training. Therefore, some people might agree and disagree with me, but I won’t change. My fans have been very supportive, especially after the big boos I have been getting. They too have been fighting alongside with me, cheering my name.” [H/T Fightful.com]
Sareee also stated that the few people cheering for her in an arena full of anti-Sareee fans have given her great strength. The Sun God is also grateful for her true fans.
“It takes guts to cheer my name in arenas filled with anti-Sareee STARDOM fans. That has given me great strength. I really thank each fan from the bottom of my heart,” Sareee said.
