Huge Main Event Announced For WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

Fans in Mexico weren’t happy with the main event of AAA TripleMania XXXIII, but WWE might be able to make good next month at Worlds Collide.

In the closing moments of the main event of AAA TripleMania XXXIII, AJ Styles interfered in the main event and cost Dominik Mysterio the Mega Championship. Allowing El Hijo del Vikingo to retain his title.

WWE took to social media this morning to announce that Dominik Mysterio will challenge El Hijo del Vikingo next month at Worlds Collide for the AAA Mega Championship, tweeting out:

“BREAKING: @DomMysterio35 to face El Hijo del Vikingo at Worlds Collide on Sept. 12! Following a chaotic main event at Triplemanía XXXIII, “Dirty” Dom challenged Vikingo to a rematch for the AAA Mega Championship at Worlds Collide in Las Vegas on Sept. 12,” WWE said in a post.
