Nikki Bella expressed her excitement for her upcoming movie Happy Gilmore 2, teasing that fans are in for a major twist.
Last week, Nikki Bella spoke E! News, where she said the trailers have shown only a glimpse of what’s to come. However, a significant part of the film has been intentionally kept secret. She said an unexpected twist will surprise fans.
“I’m so excited for everyone to see it. So much of the movie, they haven’t even teased yet in the trailers. Yes, like there is a massive part that people are going to be obsessed with — and that’s kinda where I’m at — that they haven’t even teased and I think it’s so cool that they haven’t really teased it because you’re going to watch and go, ‘Oh, so it’s going in this direction.’”
Nikki Bella’s role in the movie changed significantly
Nikki Bella was excited for Happy Gilmore 2, but things took an unfortunate turn ahead of the movie’s release. On this week’s episode of The Nikki and Brie Show, the Bella Twins talked about her role in the film.
However, she revealed that her speaking scenes were cut from the final version of the movie. “It’s not just me, it’s the whole group of people I filmed with. Our — I don’t want to give too much away, but the group, the characters that I had to work with, the majority of our funny scenes got taken out.”
The Adam Sandler-led movie Happy Gilmore 2 is set to release on Netflix on July 25. The film includes appearances from several pro wrestlers, including WWE’s Becky Lynch, who plays a golfer in a supporting role. AEW star MJF also has a significant part, appearing as one of Happy Gilmore’s sons, Gordie.
