AJ Styles’ Role At TNA Slammiversary Revealed

AJ Styles finally made his much-awaited appearance at TNA Slammiversary.

With teases and rumors circulating, it was confirmed on TNA Impact that AJ Styles would be appearing at Slammiversary. However, his exact role on the show was unknown until he made his way to the ring.

During the pay-per-view, fans witnessed a huge match for the TNA X Division Championship: Moose vs. Leon Slater. Leon Slater defeated Moose with a Senton 450 from the top rope to win the title. After the match, he celebrated in the ring with his family and girlfriend. TNA President Carlos Silva stepped in to hand Slater the title belt, but Moose grabbed it first.

However, instead of attacking, Moose showed respect and placed the belt around Leon Slater’s waist. Once Carlos Silva and Moose left the ring, Slater stood alone. Suddenly, AJ Styles’ “Get Ready to Fly” theme played, and the fans in the UBS gave him a massive ovation.

Leon Slater was seen jumping in excitement as AJ Styles made his way to the ring. Styles returned to TNA for the first time in 11 years. He joined Slater in the ring, praised him, and said the future of the X Division looks strong with him as champion. Styles officially welcomed Slater as the new TNA X Division Champion.

Styles praised him by saying, “And I would say that the X Division is in phenomenal hands, my friend. So, you’ve already made history tonight. The next step is to make your legacy. Ladies and gentlemen, the new TNA X Division Champion, Leon Slater.”
