Former NWA Women’s World Champion Kamille has been away from the world of AEW for some time, but a new trademark hints at a new turn for her.
This week, a trademark was filed for the term “The Cat 5” on behalf of Kamille. The trademark filing is a pretty standard one, and covers usage in a variety of things. One specific thing of note, though, is the “wrestling contests.” The trademark also specifics that it can be used to provide “wrestling news and information,” and is for things like “wrestling exhibits” for an entertainer.
While this is good news for fans of Kamille, this doesn’t necessarily mean she’ll be back. The trademark also makes note of a “global network” through which wrestling information can be sent. This could mean that Kamille is starting up a new website to share news, or perhaps will be running her own fan page.
Kamille first made her debut in AEW back in 2024. At the time, she arrived and formed an alliance with TBS Champion Mercedes Moné. That partnership was short lived, though, as Kamille split with Moné later that year. Many thought this was leading to some form of feud between the two, but Kamille simply stopped appearing afterward.
Despite not being on AEW programming, Kamille does remain busy. She’s currently one of five pro wrestlers who are a part of the cast of the new American Gladiators reboot.
