Bully Ray Explains Why WWE Doesn’t Need Another Evolution Event

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray doesn’t support another Evolution premium live event.

Ray recently explained why he doesn’t think WWE needs to bring back the all-women’s Evolution show. While speaking on Busted Open Radio, he said the event didn’t generate much excitement before it aired.

“The build to Evolution didn’t feel like the build to Saturday Night’s Main Event, it didn’t feel like the build to All In, thus, we weren’t expecting that kind of show.”

Bully Ray believes women have already proven their value in wrestling and they should continue competing on the main shows alongside the men.

“I don’t think we need to single the women out anymore and give them their own shows, I think the women have proven themselves that they should have their segments, their matches, their promos on main shows because they belong as much as the men do.” [H/T: WrestlingInc]

Triple H also spoke about WWE Evolution during the post-show press conference. When asked if WWE would make it a yearly event. The Game mentioned WWE will think about bringing it back if enough fans want it.

WWE brought back its all-women’s Evolution event last night, seven years after the first one in 2018. Fans in the arena and online gave the show a very positive reaction, calling it a best premium live event of the year.

The show also saw Naomi cash in her Money in the Bank contract during the match between Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship. Naomi pinned Sky to become the new Women’s World Champion.
