Tony Khan Addresses Possibility of a Third Weekly AEW Show

Tony Khan is open to the idea of adding a third weekly AEW show in the future.

Since AEW launched in 2019, the company has aired Dynamite, Rampage, Dark, Dark: Elevation, and Collision. However, Rampage and the two Dark shows have both ended their respective runs. Right now, AEW Dynamite airs on Wednesdays and AEW Collision airs on Saturdays as the company’s main weekly programs.

There have been some rumors about Collision moving to Thursday nights, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Even though Dynamite and Collision are doing well, Tony Khan recently spoke to WFAA about possibly launching a third weekly show.

“Great question there. I think we’ve done a great job in 2025, focusing now on the two primary AEW shows that we’re doing, which are Wednesday Night Dynamite and Saturday Night Collision. Although in Garland next week, Saturday Night Collision is actually going to move to Thursday. We’ve had some great experiences doing these Collisions on Thursday nights.”

“There’s always potential to expand the AEW programming calendar right now. Things have worked really well with Dynamite and Collision, but as we’re having a great year, it’s always something to consider. There’s definitely an opportunity to continue growing following the AEW media rights continuing to grow and develop new platforms for AEW. But certainly in 2025, right now, we’re feeling great about Wednesday Night Dynamite and Saturday Night Collision as the primary TV shows today. ” [H/T: Fightful]

Tony Khan responds to WWE counter-programming AEW All In: Texas

AEW All In: Texas is set for July 12, 2025, and will compete directly with WWE’s NXT Great American Bash and Saturday Night’s Main Event. The following day, July 13, WWE will also hold Evolution 2.

Reacting to WWE’s counter-programming, Tony Khan said the company is prioritizing its own show, aiming to give fans an exciting experience. “Well, I think we’re going to put on a great event, and we have to focus on putting on the best event we can with the best wrestlers in the world,” Khan said. “So that’s a lot of fun. So we’re going to have a great show next Saturday afternoon, and we’re very focused on what AEW is doing, and AEW fans, and I think that’s served us really well.”
