Fans can expect to see Jelly Roll return to WWE TV soon.
WrestleVotes has reported that Jelly Roll is expected to return to WWE on next week’s episode of SmackDown. It was mentioned that his appearance could lead to more in the future, tweeting out:
“According to sources, several within WWE expect Jelly Roll’s upcoming appearance on SmackDown (7/11) to be the start of something more. There’s anticipation the music superstar will make additional appearances in the near future. Worth noting: while currently touring, Jelly Roll is off the first weekend of August,” WrestleVotes said in a post.
It’s likely not a coincidence that the musician doesn’t have any concerts planned for the first weekend of August. This also happens to be the same weekend that WWE will hold the first-ever two-night SummerSlam event. Which will take place on August 2 and 3 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
This has sparked speculation that Roll could once again make an appearance at SummerSlam in New Jersey. At SummerSlam 2024, the musician got physically involved by delivering a chokeslam to Austin Theory. After the appearance, Jelly praised Theory for helping him shine in the moment.

SummerSlam is shaping up to be a star-studded affair overall, with hip-hop icon Cardi B confirmed to host the event. Now that Jelly Roll is potentially expected to appear as well, the Biggest Party of the Summer is looking like a can’t-miss event.
