Rob Van Dam and his wife Katie Forbes took to social media to share the news that the pair is expecting their first child.
The announcement came in a special announcement on Van Dam’s X account. Alongside his wife and co-host Dominic DeAngelo, Van Dam confirmed that he and Forbes were expecting a child to arrive sometime in 2026.
In a heartfelt moment, Van Dam pre-empted the news by discussing the unfortunate passing of Sabu. Van Dam said that maybe this announcement might be the universe’s way of balancing out the scales. He then “tagged in” his wife, who excitedly announced the news.
“You know, life is interesting,” said Van Dam. “We lost Sabu recently, of course. I feel like a big part of me was lost when we lost Sabu, because he was a part of me. He helped create me. He helped make me who I am. The universe has a funny way of balancing out. He’s on the other side now. But…”
