Purrazzo’s last official GCW appearance came in 2016, when she defeated Sonya Strong for the then vacant GCW Women’s Championship. In 2022, she faced Billie Starkz at GCW’s partner promotion, Jersey Championship Wrestling, for the March Madnezz event. “The Virtuosa” found victory on that occasion as well. Three years later, Starkz and Purrazzo now both work together under the AEW-ROH banner.
As of this writing, Purrazzo’s opponents for the July 19, August 1, and August 2 GCW shows have yet to be confirmed. The July 19 event comes one week after AEW presents All In, its biggest pay-per-view event, from Arlington, Texas.
