Ricochet will go one-on-one with former WWE star Zack Gowen next week on AEW Dynamite: Beach Break.
This week, Ricochet wrestled in two matches, one on Dynamite and another on Collision. On Dynamite, he teamed up with The Young Bucks and beat Swerve Strickland, Mark Briscoe, and Mike Bailey. On Collision, he faced Angelico and won by hitting his spirit gun finisher.
After the match, Ricochet grabbed a mic and told the crowd their boos didn’t bother him. He mocked Detroit Lions fans and listed all the wrestlers he’s defeated. He then turned his attention to former WWE Superstar Zack Gowen, who was at ringside with his sons.
Ricochet made a joke about Zack Gowen’s prosthetic leg, asking if he had fight in his leg. The high flyer then pushed Gowen as security rushed in. However, Ricochet attacked the guards, throwing one into the barricade, another into the steps, and one into the ring.
He then pulled out scissors and cut one of the guards’ hair. Zack Gowen had enough with of as he jumped the barricade and took the scissors from Ricochet. While Gowen turned to the crowd, the high fyler took advantage and attacked him.
Adding insult to the injury Ricochet pulled out his prosthetic leg and left the ring with it, holding it up and mocking him. Following this, it was announced that he will face Zack Gowen at AEW Dynamite: Beach Break on 14th May, at Now Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
This is the latest feud Ricochet has gotten into a verbal battle with, as he traded barbs with NXT’s Je’Von Evans, who referred to Tony Khan as a “crackhead” during their exchange.
