Mandy Rose has been conflicted about returning to WWE, but now says she’d at least take the call if Triple H reached out to her.
Card Player recently spoke with Mandy Rose, who is now going by Mandy Sacs. She was released by WWE in 2022, but fans still wonder if and when she will step back into the ring. Mandy said she would love to iron some things out if Triple H called her, but says it’d really have to make sense in a few ways.
“I would definitely take the phone call (if Triple H reached out). I would love to have a conversation,” Mandy said. “We can even iron out some things maybe from the past that didn’t go as planned. I’ve never been able to have a conversation with anyone that I knew or had a relationship with (about being fired). It was like, okay no one’s going to give me a little explanation here. But it would have to really make sense for me to come back financially and it would have to be a huge event.”
Mandy Rose doesn’t understand why companies stop individual brands’ growth
Mandy spoke more about the financial issues that female wrestlers face. She noted that there’s still a double standard when it comes to a wage gap.
“I do think that there is a double standard, I think there always is going to be, unfortunately. I don’t want to sound pessimistic but we strive to become better. And I think we have become better in the world of sports when it comes to women. I just felt so constricted,” she said. “Why don’t you want the superstar to become bigger and better and help your brand? Some of these social media stars are making more money than actors and actresses. You don’t realize that you’re pigeonholed into something when you’re in a big company and they usually reap all the benefits of it. Whereas you’re the talent, so you should be getting most of it.”
Mandy recently addressed why a return would not happen soon on her own Power Alphas podcast. Mandy revealed she was dealing with some back issues, but didn’t close the door on it happening down the line.
