TNA iMPACT Results – July 11, 2024
This week’s episode of TNA iMPACT kicks off with a recap of last week’s show.
It’s revealed that Frankie Kazarian was the one who attacked Nic Nemeth backstage last week. Nic gets his revenge by attacking Kazarian in the parking lot until they are pulled apart by security and Kazarian runs away.
Izzi Dame from NXT answers Jordynne Grace’s open challenge for the Knockouts Championship.
Jordynne Grace defeated Izzi Dame to retain the TNA Knockouts Championship
- Jordynne Grace hits Izzi Dame with the Juggernaut Driver to score the pinfall victory.
Santino Marella announces a Wildcard Tag Team match for tonight’s main event. Josh Alexander will team with Joe Hendry to take on Steve Maclin and Moose.
NXT’s Charlie Dempsey defeated Zachary Wentz (w/ Trey Miguel)
- Myles Borne shows up and attacks Trey Miguel at ringside, allowing Charlie Dempsey to hit Zachary Wentz with a bridging German suplex to score the pinfall victory.
The System are backstage. Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers declare that they’ll defeat the Hardyz next week. Moose tells Steve Maclin to stay out of his way in the main event later on tonight.
More WWE NXT on TNA iMPACT next week
Charlie Dempsey and Myles Borne are outside. Dempsey says he wasn’t going to come alone and came with backup. Dempsey says he’s watched The Rascalz matches and knows how they win matches but the No Quarter Catch Crew were one step ahead of them.
Tavion Heights appears and says where they go, he goes. Santino Marella approaches them and says they must be proud of themselves. Marella says he’s setting up a six-man tag next week against The Rascalz and someone from the TNA roster who’s familiar with their world.
Speedball Mike Bailey defeated KUSHIDA and Jonathan Gresham to become the number one contender for the X-Division Championship
- Speedball Mike Bailey hits Ultima Weapon on Jonathan Gresham to score the pinfall victory.
After the match, Campaign Singh and Ali’s security detail attack Bailey. Mustafa Ali comes out and is going to hit Bailey with a chair. Trent Seven hits the ring to try and stop it but Ali attacks Seven instead. Ali injures Seven’s knee with the chair and locks him in the Sharpshooter while Bailey is forced to watch it all unfold.
A video package plays surrounding the current storyline between Steph De Lander and PCO.
AJ Francis (w/ Rich Swann) defeated Rhino to retain the TNA Digital Media Championship in a Philadelphia Street Fight
- The match was initially thrown out due to interference from Rich Swann, but Santino Marella restarted the match as a Philadelphia Street Fight. AJ Francis hits Rhino with a low blow to score the pinfall victory.
PCO’s post-match attack backfires
After the match, the lights go out and PCO attacks Francis and Swann. Francis eventually gets the better of PCO and chokeslams him on the ramp before posing with both titles.
Gisele Shaw defeated Tasha Steelz
- Gisele Shaw hits Tasha Steelz with a running knee to score the pinfall victory.
JDC defeated Chris Bey (w/ Ace Austin)
- Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers assist JDC who hits Chris Bey with a top rope leg drop to score the pinfall victory.
TNA World Champion Moose and Steve Maclin defeated Josh Alexander and Joe Hendry
- Frankie Kazarian shows up and distracts Joe Hendry and Josh Alexander. Moose hits Alexander with a spear and Steve Maclin follows it up with KIA to score the pinfall victory for his team.
Moose and Steve Maclin have a staredown as TNA iMPACT goes off the air.
