WWE continues to load up the card for WWE NXT Heatwave.
On the June 18 episode of WWE NXT, Je’Von Evans won a battle royal to earn a shot at NXT Champion Trick Williams at NXT Heatwave. Later in the show, Ethan Page defeated Evans.
The following week, Shawn Spears defeated NXT Champion Trick Williams after Brooks Jensen interfered. Given the complicated title picture, NXT general manager Ava made the decision to add Spears and Page to the title bout, making it a four-way match.
Another title match for NXT Heatwave was also confirmed on Tuesday. Sol Ruca defeated Arianna Grace to earn a shot at the NXT Women’s North American Championship at the premium live event. She will challenge Kelani Jordan for the title.
WrestleZone will have coverage of WWE NXT Heatwave as it airs on July 7.
