Former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Cora Jade has been out of action since January. Jade suffered a torn ACL during one of the NXT Live events. She was reported to be sidelined for at least a year. Five months after her ACL surgery, the resident Mean Girl of NXT shared an update on her injury.
Just about a month before the unfortunate injury, Cora returned to the promotion. She was absent from the company after claiming to have quit after losing to Dana Brooke (a.k.a Ash by Elegance). This was back in August of 2023. Nearly five months later, at the NXT Deadline Premium Live Event Cora Jade made a shocking return to the Black and Gold brand.
Then, unfortunately, during a Live event, Jade suffered a torn ACL while she was challenging Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Championship.
Now, five months after undergoing surgery, the former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion took to Twitter to share an update. She mentioned that her first Biodex test was successfully completed. A Biodex test is the test to check on the functioning of muscles after undergoing surgeries. This test also helps train the muscles helping in the recovery process.
“First Biodex test down. ? 5 months to the day ⏳,” Cora Jade tweeted.
We at Wrestlezone wish Cora Jade a speedy recovery.
