It’s almost time for WWE SmackDown!

Apollo Crews vs. Angel

Apollo Crews lost to Andrade following a distraction from Angel last week on WWE SmackDown. Crews would attack Angel in the locker room following the match. These two superstars go one-on-one tonight on the blue brand.

Johnny Gargano vs. Grayson Waller on WWE SmackDown

A-Town Down Under has a bone to pick with DIY. Last week, Austin Theory lost his singles outing to Tommaso Ciampa. Tonight, Ciampa’s best friend Johnny Gargano takes on one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions in Grayson Waller.

Jade Cargill vs. Indi Hartwell

Indi Hartwell blamed Bianca Belair for ‘injuring’ Candice LeRae on WWE King and Queen of the Ring pre-show. For those unware, Indi and Candice failed to beat the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions in Saudi Arabia.

Indi’s rant prompted Jade to issue a challenge to the former NXT Women’s Champion. Both superstars collide in what is set to be Jade’s third singles outing on WWE SmackDown.

Cody Rhodes to appear on WWE SmackDown

Cody Rhodes was the victim of a massive betrayal on SmackDown last Friday. The American Nightmare thought AJ Styles was retiring only for the latter to pull off a phenomenal (pun very much intended) surprise. Styles laid out Rhodes with a cheap shot and capped off the beat down with a Styles Clash outside the ring.

WWE announced in the lead-up to SmackDown that Cody Rhodes would appear live on the blue brand. Rhodes had previously retained his Undisputed WWE Championship against Styles in a clinic at Backlash France. What will the American Nightmare have to say? We will find out this week on SmackDown.

Solo Sikoa officially anoints Tonga Loa into The Bloodline

Tonga Loa’s surprise return to WWE completely changed The Bloodline’s trajectory. The former Camacho would help Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga beat Kevin Owens and Randy Orton at Backlash France. He’d then secure wins in tag team matches on WWE SmackDown.

Tonga returns to SmackDown tonight to cement his position in The Bloodline. How will the segment play out?

Keep checking back with Wrestlezone as we have live coverage of SmackDown every Friday.
