Noam Dar was set to face Je’Von Evans on the May 14 episode of WWE NXT. Instead, a backstage attack took him out of action.
At the beginning of Tuesday’s episode, Noam Dar was found in the aftermath of an attack backstage. The identity of his assailant was left unknown, but it was clear that Dar was in rough shape. Many accused NXT Champion Trick Williams, as Dar dropped Williams with a cheap shot last week.
Later in the show, Noam Dar was evaluated in the trainer’s room. The trainer noted that there was not a timetable for Dar’s return to the ring, and he was “out indefinitely.” As a result, Oro Mensah replaced Dar in his match against Evans. Evans went on to score the win.
Additional details are unclear at this time. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
