Jack Perry and The Young Bucks want to put AEW back on track.
In a shocking end to the April 24 episode of AEW Dynamite, The Elite (Jack Perry, The Young Bucks, and Kazuchika Okada) attacked AEW CEO Tony Khan. Perry, Okada, and the Young Bucks, who are AEW EVPs, then stood tall together.
In a tweet, AEW shared The Elite’s backstage comments following the attack.
“You took eight months of my career, and you just got what was coming to you,” Perry said.
Matthew Jackson added, “When we came back, we said we’re here to put AEW back on track. It was time to change the world. What you just saw out there, unfortunately for Tony, the best boss I ever worked for, by the way, that was just us trying to get this place back to what it was supposed to be, and that was our final play. The Elite has arrived.”
Nicholas chimed in by saying, “Matter of fact, Matthew, this is the best version of The Elite.”
