MxM have expanded their connection with the SGW promotion in Uganda.
Mace and Mansoor recently travelled to Uganda as surprise guests for Soft Ground Wrestling. The former WWE Superstars attacked Lord White in one of the most bizarre crossovers in wrestling history.
However, it does not end there. MxM announced on Twitter that they have created another collaboration between themselves and SGW. The duo announced that a new t-shirt was set to launch to raise funds for the promotion.
All the proceeds for the T-shirt will go to help pay for the wrestling promotion, and to feed the poor wrestlers in Uganda. They also announced a fundraiser on the pair’s Twitch account next month to help the kids “Achieve the dream”, according to Mace.
“Soft Ground Wrestling fans. I have a very exciting announcement to make. As you can see, we’re wearing MxM SGW crossover t-shirts, and I can proudly announce that they will be for sale at ForYouWear.com. All the proceeds and all the funds will go to SGW, so these kids can continue to chase their dream of professional wrestling.
They need your help. They don’t own this land, it’s rented. And they don’t have beds, they sleep on the floor. They can barely afford food. We need to support these kids, so they have a family and a community to foster professional wrestling in Uganda.”
Mace continued. “In order to do that, we’re not just going to give all the proceeds from these t-shirts to these kids here today. We’re also going to host our own stream – the “Achieve the Dream Stream” – on May 6th. Be there, donate and help these kids, and we will all achieve the dream!”.
