Stephanie McMahon returned to WWE programming and hyped up the Paul Levesque Era at WWE WrestleMania 40.
Ahead of the first match at WWE WrestleMania 40 Night Two, Stephanie McMahon came to the ring and noted that she had been at or a part of every WrestleMania, and she was the most proud of WrestleMania 40 because it was the first WrestleMania of the Paul Levesque era. She highlighted how the love of wrestling drew everyone together, and Levesque understood that quite well. Stephanie then hyped up the crowd by borrowing from Triple H and asking them, “Are you ready?”
This marked Stephanie McMahon’s first official appearance on WWE programming since she resigned from the company in January 2023. She appeared at the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony on April 5. WrestleMania 40 marked the first WrestleMania since Vince McMahon’s resignation amid Janel Grant’s lawsuit alleging sexual assault and sex trafficking in January 2024.
