TNA Star Moose Thinks His Football Career Helped Him In Wrestling
In a recent interview with by Adrian Hernandez on his UNLikely podcast, Moose claimed that the discipline he learnt in the NFL has helped him conquer his goals in the wrestling world.
“The biggest thing that the NFL helped me with going into wrestling was discipline. I think thats the thing the NFL, and football in general, college, pros, high school, teaches you is discipline. It’s like, you’re on a fixed schedule. You have to be at practise at this time, and you can’t be late! And you have to be on the field at this time, and you can’t be late. And if you are late, there’s consequences. If you have treatment and don’t make it to treatment, you’re gonna be late. And if you’re late to treatment, you get fined. There’s consequences.”
“It helped me with wrestling in setting my schedule and being disciplined enough. Stick to my schedule that I created for myself when I decided to become a wrestler. So I think thats the biggest thing I took from football. Not only to wrestling, but just in life in general.”
