A couple of weeks ago at the AEW Big Business special episode, Mercedes Moné made her much-anticipated debut of former WWE Superstar Mercedes Moné. She showed up and addressed the fans. She thanked the people for always showering her with love and support, especially during the time she was recovering from an injury.
The CEO opened AEW Big Business and closed the night as well. The night came to a close when she showed up to help Willow Nightingale from an attack from Julia Hart and Skye Blue.
Moné was also featured on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite where she cut another promo.
There is one question that fans are looking to get the answer to. That is, when and who will the self-proclaimed CEO of AEW wrestle first in the Stamford-based promotion? It seems like, Mercedes Moné has the exact question as well. The formerly WWE Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion took to Twitter to ask fans for a suggestion on whom she should wrestle first.
“Who should I fight first? @AEW #CEO,” Mercedes Moné tweeted.
Bayley finds it bittersweet that Mercedes Moné has signed with AEW
Recently, the winner of the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble Bayley was interviewed by Stephanie Chase of Digital Spy. During the interview, the former leader of Damage CTRL shared her thoughts on Moné’s AEW debut.
“[Mercedes] is the best, I wouldn’t be here without her,” Bayley said. “She’s done so much for me. Even after she was done with WWE, she’s been there for me in my big moments. So I know I need to be there for her continuously throughout the years.
“It was incredible, I’m just happy that she was on a Wednesday where I’m like, ‘alright, I can actually make a Wednesday, that’s one of our few days off.’ It was really special to see her celebrate with her family and her friends and people she started wrestling with and see her welcomed by a new family,” Bayley said. “It’s bittersweet, but I’m very, very proud of her and just so grateful we got to be there.”
