Cody Rhodes delivered a buzzworthy message on the March 25 episode of WWE RAW.
Cody Rhodes kicked off the show on Monday and addressed Roman Reigns’ comments about him on The Pat McAfee Show and WWE SmackDown. He recalled how Reigns said that he made promises he could not keep. Cody cited some of the promises he had made to the fans, like agreeing to be the best man at a wedding.
As for Reigns’ claim that Cody was a politician, Cody said that he pretended to be the champion because the real champion was not there. Rhodes said that he respected Reigns, but he hated him for screwing him at WWE WrestleMania 39. Cody then said that Reigns may hate him too, as it was his fault that Reigns and The Rock could not have their “wank fest” at WrestleMania 39.
Cody then asked the fans if they would ride with him and fight with him at WrestleMania 40. They cheered, and he asked them to point at the WrestleMania sign with him. The Rock then interrupted Rhodes and stared him down. “The Final Boss” said something to Cody off-mic before he walked away without saying a word otherwise.
