The biggest WrestleMania of all time is less than two weeks away. The main event of both Night One and Night Two of WrestleMania 40 will feature Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. The main event of Night One will be a tag team match. The American Nightmare will be teaming up with Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins to take on The Tribal Chief and the self-proclaimed Final Boss The Rock. Both Rhodes and Reigns will compete against each other in a one-on-one match on Night Two for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.
This past Friday Night, both the American Nightmare and The Head of The Table had a face-off. Paul Heyman had promised Rhodes on Raw that if he came alone to SmackDown, Roman Reigns would come alone too.
That is what it seemed like at first. But after a heated war of words, Reigns snapped his fingers like Thanos, and out came Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso from the crowd. This seemed to be a trap for Rhodes. But the American Nightmare came prepared as he showed up with backup in the form of Jey Uso and Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins.
Following SmackDown, Cody Rhodes took to Twitter to share that the battle between him and Reigns is nearing its end as they are at the bottom of the ninth.
“[B]ottom of the 9th,” Cody Rhodes tweeted, clearly a reference to Heyman telling WrestleZone’s Bill Pritchard that the Bloodline was still in the bottom of the third after SummerSlam.

Roman Reigns claims Cody Rhodes took away his storybook ending from him
Recently, The Tribal Chief was a special guest on the Pat McAfee show. During the episode, Roman Reigns claimed that his final match was to be against The Rock but Cody Rhodes took it away from him.
“But for me, that was the endgame,” Roman Reigns said. “Let me go ahead and just make the final statement. Put the stamp of approval, seal the deal. I beat The Rock, ain’t nobody ever questioning what I’ve done here, and Cody took that from me. We’re such a close family, we handle things the right way, and fortunately, we have the ring to be able to settle our differences.
“He took that from me. He took that storybook ending. Because, imagine, somebody who just pops up and they’re talking about ‘This is my story.’ You ain’t even been here half the time. You just got here, you literally just got here two years ago.”
