One of the stars who was frequently showcased on AEW was QT Marshall. While he was not wrestling all of the time, he still had a lot of screen time on weekly television. Marshall was also leading a faction, QTV. He had parted ways with the Jacksonville-based promotion a while ago. But he had returned to the Tony Khan-led promotion last month.
A fan recently took to Twitter to claim that one of the most underrated professional wrestlers, in his opinion, was the AEW wrestler. Upon reading the fan’s tweet, QT Marshall replied by stating that he would only be considered an underrated wrestler in the minds of a ‘certain’ type of fan base. Marshall also mentioned that his job as a professional wrestler was to get people to make noise and he does it 99% of the time.
“Only underrated by a certain type of fan. My job is to get people to make noise. 99% of the time, I get the job done. I don’t wrestle for the people to type about me online. Never have. I didn’t know who Meltzer was until I was 19. Already a year in,” QT Marshall tweeted.
The recently returned AEW star also mentioned that he is very confident in his abilities as a professional wrestler and also shared that the fans in the arenas have a clear mind of what they like and also make sure to let’s the talent know as well.
“Not at all. I’m very confident in my abilities. As most talent should be. Also, the live crowds tell you what they like. It’s pretty simple. But I’m going to go out of my way to get the keyboard kings as well,” QT Marshall tweeted.
