Associated Press revealed who the first inductee into the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame would be. It was none other than Paul Heyman. WWE later confirmed the news. It is only fitting that Heyman is inducted this year as WrestleMania 40 and the Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be taking place in the birthplace of ECW, Philadelphia. A former WWE Superstar and ECW veteran Francine reacted to the news and appreciated her former boss.
The Wiseman of The Bloodline has been part of the wrestling business for over three decades. He has been a commentator, a General Manager, the ‘father’ of ECW, and of course has been the advocate and manager of multiple Superstars. There have been several wrestlers such as Tommy Dreamer, Sandman, and others who have thanked and dedicated their entire careers to Heyman because he was the one that allowed them to showcase their talents.
Former ECW and TNA wrestler Francine took to Twitter to thank The Founding Father of ECW for giving her the opportunity to prove herself. She also mentioned that Heyman was the person who gave a chance to many wrestlers and brought out the best in them.
“If it wasn’t for this man giving me a chance, I wouldn’t be where I am now. Congrats @HeymanHustle and thank you for always believing in me and in my brothers and sisters from the original #ECW. #YouDeserveIt,” Francine tweeted.
On last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Michael Cole also revealed that during his early days as a commentator, Heyman would sit down with him and Taz to teach them everything that there is to teach about the art of commentating.
Roman Reigns also appreciated Heyman.
