During the Thunderdome Era, the Irresistible Force Nia Jax was feuding with the Ravishing Russian Lana. It all began when every week Jax would slam Lana through the announcer’s desk. This led to a Tables Match between the two.
During the match, the former WWE Raw Women’s Champion attempted to hit a leg drop on Lana on the ring apron. But the Ravishing Russian dodged and Jax fell on the hardest part of the squared circle. As she was hurt pretty bad, she yelled out loud, ‘my hole.’ This instantly went viral and became a meme.
Recently, Chris Van Vliet asked the former WWE Raw Women’s Champion how she felt once her ‘My Hole’ line went viral.
Nia Jax replied by stating that she only knew it went viral because the other wrestlers and backstage personalities told her. She also revealed that it was initially a joke that she was playing but then it amplified into another level.
“So, when I walked back after the match, everybody was laughing. So I was like, ‘Oh okay.’ And then everybody was like, ‘You’re trending on the internet right now.’ And I was like, ‘There’s no way.’ It was a joke that I was playing. That took on a [W]Hole another level. It was incredible,” Nia Jax said.
Nia Jax is not done with Becky Lynch
The rivalry between Jax and The Man Becky Lynch seems to be a never-ending story. During a recent interview with TV Insider, the Irresistible Force claimed that she is bound to finish her story against Lynch.
“Yeah Cody. I’m going to finish my story,” Nia Jax said. “It’s incredible though. We are able to continue this story that started five years ago. We remind the audience and get them invested again. I felt the strength of that moment, I realize it changed the course of history.
“I am so happy we had that match on Raw recently, and we’re still continuing to tell the story. We’re not finished, Becky. She is one of the best WWE superstars in all of history, so I’m honored to be able to work with her. I’m honored to have been able to contribute to the creation of ‘The Man.'”
