The January 25 episode of TNA IMPACT ended in surprising fashion as a new vignette aired teasing the arrival of former WWE star Mustafa Ali.
Ali provided the voice-over and noted TNA has undergone a change that was years in the making. But now it’s time for a different change, one that’s ignited by an “X factor.” Ali was then shown on camera and he said, “I’m Mustafa Ali and I approve this message.”
Ali was released from WWE in September. He then hit the ground running as a free agent in 2024 and has made appearances for APC, GCW, C4, and NSPW so far. He also has bookings lined up for PROGRESS, DEFY, DREAMWAVE, Prestige, Warrior Wrestling, NJPW, and more.
It remains to be seen when Ali will make his TNA in-ring debut. It’s worth noting that Ali was not featured at the company’s recent IMPACT tapings in Orlando.
