CM Punk wants to see Paul Bissonnette go all out and execute some moves excellently.
Legendary Canadian hockey player Paul Bissonnette and the Seattle Kraken mascot, Buoy, got into a scrap at the 2024 NHL Winter Classic. CM Punk was on the Jackie Redmond Show and she asked Punk what he thought of the interaction from a pro wrestling standpoint.
Punk used a Bret Hart scale to rate the move, then both agreed they wanted tables involved.
“Of course. You saw the clips, they went viral. Uhh… People’s Elbow? Four out of ten. I mean, just choice of move. I understand safety being paramount and everything like that, but I would like to see Biz pick him up. We could go real old school and do airplane spins,” CM Punk said.
Redmond pointed out that there was a table right there, and they should have gone all out.
“Oh 100% [he should commit to it], especially with a goon like Biz,” he added. “C’mon! He should have put him through the table.”
Bissonnette saw the clip and responded, writing the following on Twitter:
“Don’t make me put on my man thong & knee pads, enter the Royal Rumble and throw you over the top rope @CMPunk. Watch your mouth about my moves,” Bissonnette wrote. “Call me a goon again and I’ll put you in a GTS. ?? #WaitWhat #PeoplesElbow”
