A fellow chucker, eh?
Currently, the WWE roster is stacked with a lot of talent. When it comes to the women’s division, be it on Raw, SmackDown, or even on the Black and Gold Brand, NXT mostly are former champions, or are current or future champions. One such talent is Nikkita Lyons.
Sadly, the self-proclaimed Lioness of NXT is currently sidelined due to injury. At one point in time, when she arrived on NXT, a plethora of fans felt that she was going to be the one to dethrone the then NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose. But sadly, she suffered a torn ACL and was unable to move forward. Nikkita Lyons also was once in a tag team with Zoey Stark. Their tag team partnership came to an unexpected end as Stark turned on her tag team partner after the duo failed to capture the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships.
Later Stark picked up the win in a singles competition against Lyons. However, Lyons failed to get her revenge as she suffered another torn ACL. Recently, Lyons made her return to NXT television. She appeared amongst the crowd. But that was all, there was no development with regard to who she would wrestle when she’s back nor what the storyline would be.
With that being said, the NXT Superstar took to Twitter to show off her skills with nunchucks. In the video, it also seems like her ACL is completely healed and she’s ready to compete inside the squared circle once more.
“Escape the ordinary,” Nikkita Lyons tweeted.
Fans will have to wait and see who her first opponent will be when she’s back.
