McKenzie Mitchell gears up for her first post-WWE appearance.
On December 1, it was reported that WWE had completed another wave of releases, one of which was on-air personality McKenzie Mitchell. She was best known for her role as a backstage interviewer for the WWE NXT brand. Mitchell confirmed her release on X (formerly Twitter), stating the following: “Today I was released by WWE. I met my husband, moved cross country from CT to FL for [WWE NXT] (a place I’ve always considered home), and met friends that became like family. I’ve always said and firmly believe in ‘when [one] door closes, another opens.'”
Following her exit from WWE, Mitchell has now been announced for an upcoming appearance at The Wrestling Collector Store in Stockholm, New Jersey. On Saturday, December 9, Mitchell will participate in a meet-and-greet alongside former TNA Knockout Velvet Sky and former TNA personality Socal Val. This event will begin at 2 pm EST, before ending at 4 pm EST.
Mitchell is also set to partake in an autograph session in collaboration with RDP Promotions, which is run by Richie Degregorio. This signing opportunity also includes Velvet Sky and former TNA Knockout Taryn Terrell.
Before signing with WWE in 2019, Mitchell spent several years in IMPACT/TNA Wrestling as a backstage interviewer.
