Former WWE Superstar and current New Japan World Star Kenta is once again back in the news. He wants to steal one of CM Punk’s finishers if he ever does create one.
This past weekend was the Survivor Series Premium Live. The show took place live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The show witnessed several returns. But the one that many were convinced would never happen was the return of the Best In The World, CM Punk.
The Second City Saint returned at the closing moments of the show. He had a special moment with the Chicago crowd and with that, the show came to a close.
Former WWE Superstar Kenta took to Twitter to take a shot at CM Punk. He jokingly claimed that he wished CM Punk would create a new finishing move so that he could steal it. This is a dig at Punk because initially the GTS finisher was invented by Kenta. But then, Punk began to use it and it gained a lot of popularity.
“I wish he creates another finisher and I’m gonna steal his move as my new finisher,” Kenta tweeted.
Triple H on CM Punk returning
While speaking on the post-show Press Conference shared his thoughts on CM Punk. The CCO of WWE mentioned that this was bound to happen. He also revealed that this happened at the very last minute.
“So this is one of those things — a lightning in a bottle moment that came together quickly. But we are incredibly excited about it. It’s been a long time and in some ways it’s been a long time coming. You could say this about CM Punk; love him, hate him, positive, negative, whatever you want to say, people talk about him all the time. He is a magnet for that,” Triple H said. “He is a conversation starter and it’s tough to look past that. And for me, if our fans want it, if the WWE Universe is excited to have it, then let’s go and we’ll figure out the rest of it from there.
“This came together super-quick, which I’m sure is why it stayed very tight. There was a lot of speculation, and at that point, it was nothing but speculation. For most of the time it was speculation. It didn’t really come to fruition until everybody stopped thinking it was going to happen. And then all of the sudden, it was happening. But [I’m] extremely excited,” Triple H said.
