A former member of the Jericho Appreciation Society, Tay Melo Guevara is currently absent from in-ring competition. She is currently pregnant with her and Sammy Guevara’s first child.
The relationship between the Brazillian-born wrestler and her husband blossomed after the two began to compete in AEW. Before entering the Jacksonville-based promotion, Tay Melo was wrestling on WWE NXT under the ring name Tay Conti. Guevara, on the other hand, was wrestling in the independent circuit. Chris Jericho saw the Spanish God’s in-ring skills and was impressed. He instantly wanted Guevara in the Jacksonville-based promotion and he indeed made it happen.
Both Guevara and Melo have teamed up to compete in multiple mixed-gender tag team matches. The couple also held the AAA Mixed-Gender Tag Team Championships at one point in their careers.
Melo has been very rarely seen on AEW television since announcing that they were pregnant. Recently she shared a picture highlighting her beautiful pregnancy glow.

Earlier this week, the soon-to-be mother also took to Twitter to thank The USA for giving her all the opportunities in her life.
“7 years ago I started my life in America. I’m so grateful for this country, I’ll do whatever it takes to represent this land as if it was my own. Thank you for every opportunity, experience, and lessons. A proud Brazilian that loves America. My life is a dream and I wouldn’t change anything !!!” Tay Melo tweeted.
The couple had also revealed the gender of their baby in a vlog. They will be welcoming a baby girl very soon.
