One of the fastest-rising stars in professional wrestling and a guaranteed future WWE Hall of Famer is Montez Ford. Ford recently revealed that he faces many issues whenever he competes at the Madison Square Garden.
The former Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Champion has currently joined forces with the All Mighty Bobby Lashley. Angelo Dawkins is also part of the faction. It was a recent heel turn that has made this brand-new faction a force to be reckoned with.
Ford has been wrestling in WWE for a long time. Both he and Angelo Dawkins have been a dominant tag team since their time in NXT. The duo has wrestled in multiple arenas including The Madison Square Garden.
In a recent interview with Metro.co.uk, Montez Ford opened up about wrestling in one of the world’s most famous arenas. He mentioned that while it was an honor to wrestle there, he always faces an issue whenever he does.
“I will say, every time I’m in MSG, something happens. One match, my shoe came off on live TV with The Usos and I wrestled with one shoe on… There were a couple of other times where I’m like, “I think there’s something going on with me and MSG!” I would say any time I go to MSG because there’s always going to be some S-*-*-T going on!” Montez Ford said.
Ford, Dawkins, and The All Mighty Bobby Lashley recently wrestled the trio of Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar, and the returning Carlito. It was at the WWE Fastlane Premium Live Event.
Despite putting on a tough fight, the newly formed heel faction was unable to get the job done. It was Montez Ford who ate the pinfall.
