Former NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed has laid out a challenge to the rest of the WWE Raw roster. But, there is one condition, they need to be a Super Heavyweight.
This week on Monday Night Raw, the Australian wrestler battled one of the biggest Superstars on the roster, Otis. It was the battle of the super heavyweights. Both stars put up a tough fight and this was one of the best matches of the night. In the end, the former NXT North American Champion picked up the win by hitting the Tsunami splash.
The week before, Reed put on an instant classic against the Master of Alpha Academy Chad Gable. Even in that match, the former NXT North American Champion picked up the win.
Following his match against Otis, he was interviewed backstage by Byron Saxton. During the interview, Reed claimed that he is the best wrestler in his weight category. He also stated that he demolished one of the biggest wrestlers on the roster in Otis. The Australian-born wrestler also issued a challenge to wrestlers who are heavier than him to try and defeat him.
“I’ve said it time and time again, Byron. That I am the best Super Heavyweight in the business. And tonight, after demolishing Otis in that ring, it proves my point. And I challenge anyone over 330 pounds to get in that ring with me.”
Reed also asked other wrestlers to eat more and beef up if they wished to stand up to him.
“I think some of the boys here backstage need to start eating some sandwiches because no one is in contention for the big guy… Maybe you could eat a little sandwiches as well… Beef up,” Bronson Reed said.
