Von Wagner is seemingly going to be out of action for the foreseeable future, based on the latest update.
At the end of the September 5 episode of WWE NXT, Bron Breakker cheated to beat Von Wagner in a No Disqualification match. Breakker continued the assault after the bell, as he apparently smashed Wagner’s head with the steel steps. The live broadcast cut out, so the impact of the steps was not shown.
WWE subsequently announced that Wagner who left the arena on a stretcher, was being evaluated at a local hospital.
WWE provided an update on the September 12 episode of WWE NXT, as the broadcast team announced that he suffered a minor skull fracture, and the timeline for his recovery hadn’t been determined yet.
