WWE delivered an action-packed show with the August 1 episode of WWE NXT.
The results are as follows:
NXT Tag Team Champions Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Tony D’Angelo pull into the parking lot. They get attacked by Gallus.
Jacy Jayne vs. Lyra Valkyria
Jacy Jayne attacks Lyra Valkyria before the match. She controls the action early on. Valkyria rallies and dives onto Jayne at ringside. She gains the upper hand and keeps rolling. Jayne takes charge and grounds Valkyria. Lyra hits a diving crossbody and suplexes Jayne. Lyra drills Jacy with some kicks. Jayne fires back with a kick and dumps Valkyria with a spinebuster. Valkyria gets the win with a splash.

Backstage, NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams talk about Hayes’ win at NXT Great American Bash. Williams says he’s no sidekick, and he needs to shine on his own. Trick tells Hayes it’s not a break-up, but he needs to be his own man.
Backstage, Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo are asked for a medical update. D’Angelo says he wants to face Gallus tonight, and he tells Lorenzo to make a call so they can see if “he” shows up.
In-Ring Segment: “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley
Ripley hypes up Mysterio’s win at NXT Great American Bash. Dominik calls himself the greatest luchador that has ever lived. Dragon Lee interrupts and says Rey Mysterio is the greatest luchador of all time. Dominik says he made the Mysterio name relevant. Dragon says Ripley has Dominik’s “cajones” in his purse. Dragon Lee challenges Dominik to a title match next week. Dominik accepts, and Ripley says she’ll be in his corner. Dragon says he won’t be coming alone. Rey Mysterio appears on the ring and says he’ll be on NXT next week, as he will be there to support Lee, the future of lucha libre.
Wes Lee storms into the locker room, where he runs into Carmelo Hayes. Lee gets heated as he’s frustrated after his loss at NXT Great American Bash. Noam Dar and Oro Mensah show up and take some shots at Lee. Lee gets fired up, and they brawl.
In an interview, Thea Hail says she didn’t give up at NXT Great American Bash. Andre Chase says he didn’t have a choice other than to throw in the towel. Baron Corbin interrupts and tells Hail that this job isn’t for everyone, and Hail failed. He tells Hail she should find something else to do, Chase stands up to Corbin, who tells him to do something about it.
Dijak vs. Eddy Thorpe
Dijak takes the fight to Thorpe, who lights him up with some chops. Thorpe gains the upper hand. Dijak overpowers him and goes for a chokeslam, but Thorpe counters. Dijak sends Thorpe shoulder-first into the ring post and slams him for a two-count. Thorpe drops Dijak with a German suplex. Dijak drills Thorpe with a kick and drops him with another. Dijak pins him to clinch the win.

Backstage, Tony D’Angelo makes a call and tells Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo that “he” is on his way.
Kelani Jordan and Dana Brooke talk about Dana’s win over Cora Jade. Brooke says she “lost it” when she got the kendo stick, and she kind of liked it. Jordan tells Brooke she’s a bad-ass. Brooke says Jordan needs to call someone out and find her killer instinct.
Valentina Feroz & Yulisa Leon vs. Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez
Leon and Feroz showcase their impressive chemistry early on. Vice and Lopez take control. Vice gets a two-count with a hip attack. She and Lopez isolate Feroz. Leon tags in and clears house with a flurry of offense. She slams Vice and gets a two-count. Feroz takes the fight to Lopez, who dumps her out of the ring. Vice nails Leon with a kick.

In a TikTok, NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton comments on her win over Thea Hail at NXT Great American Bash. She teased that she would have a celebration next week.
Carmelo Hayes & Wes Lee vs. Noam Dar & Oro Mensah
Lee dives onto Dar and Mensah during their entrance. The two teams get in the ring, and the match officially starts. Hayes takes control and continues to control the action with Lee. The two teams keep going back and forth. Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson try to get involved, but Hayes slams Dar. Jackson gets in the way, but Lee dives over her. Hayes drops Mensah with a kick. Lee accidentally takes Hayes out with the Cardiac Kick. Dar pins Lee for the win.

In a video message, Bron Breakker says Von Wagner’s story is touching stuff, but he calls Wagner a nobody. He tells Wagner to come find him if he has a problem with it and threatens to hurt him badly if he does.
Axiom confronts Dominik Mysterio, who confuses him for Dragon Lee. Mustafa Ali barges in and tries to talk about the Triple Threat match at NXT Great American Bash. Axiom gets upset because he feels disrespected. Ali says he has been disrespected for six years, and the NXT North American Championship is his.
Baron Corbin vs. Andre Chase (with Duke Hudson and Thea Hail)
Corbin controls the action early on. Chase gets a two count with a sunset flip. Corbon slams Hayes at ringside. The match continues at ringside briefly. Chase continues to gain momentum with a flurry of offense. Thea Hail looks visibly disheartened at ringside. Corbin goes for a submission hold. Hail tries to throw in the towel, but Corbin throws it back. Hail walks away. Corbin pins Chase with the End of Days.
Winner: Baron Corbin

Backstage, Noam Dar and Oro Mensah celebrate their win. Lash Legend says they beat the NXT Champion and a former NXT Champion. Tyler Bate shows up and says he was on a meditation retreat. He challenges Noam Dar to face him next week.
Schism Interrogation
Joe Gacy leads an interrogation and says two of the masked Schism members have abandoned their values. Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid make it clear that they think the moles are The Creed Brothers. Ava says they will unmasked tonight. A few members unmask. One man unmasks and reveals himself as Ikemen Jiro. Reid and Fowler accuse the masked men of being the Creed Brothers. They attack the individuals and unmask them. They’re not the Creed Brothers. The actual Creed Brothers appear on the video screen, and they’re seemingly on the beach. They change the background to show different places they’ve been. They disagree about their location, and Julius claims they’re not in Orlando. Gacy tells the followers of Schism to bring the Creed Brothers to them.
Backstage, Cora Jade gets frustrated about her loss to Dana Brooke. She grabs her things and says she’s leaving.
Gallus (Wolfgang, Mark Coffey & Joe Coffey) vs. Tony D’Angelo, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo & Santos Escobar
Santos Escobar is revealed as the mystery man. D’Angelo and his team take control early on. They punch Gallus together. They maintain the advantage and gang up on Joe Coffey. The trio maintains the advantage. Gallus swings the momentum in their corner. They isolate Stacks, and Joe slams him. Mark and Joe Coffey take out Escobar and D’Angelo for a moment. Escobar tags in and fires up with a flurry of offense. The two teams brawl in the ring. Escobar drills Mark with double knees. D’Angelo and “Stacks” pin Mark.

In a promo, Ilja Dragunov blames Trick Williams for his loss at NXT Great American Bash. He says his retribution will begin next week, and he won’t stop until Williams has been terminated.
