The teams are set for the 2023 AEW Blood & Guts match.
The July 12 episode of AEW Dynamite concluded with the reveal of who would complete the teams for this year’s Blood & Guts match. When Kenny Omega came out to confront Don Callis, a returning PAC attacked and aligned with The Blackpool Combat Club. PAC had been absent from AEW since The Elite (Omega and the Young Bucks) beat Death Triangle (PAC and the Lucha Brothers) to win the AEW World Trios Championship on the January 11 episode of AEW Dynamite.
In the midst of Omega being attacked, it was revealed on the tron that Kota Ibushi will reunite with The Golden Elite next Wednesday. It will mark Ibushi’s AEW debut and his first match since March.
This year’s Blood & Guts match will officially see Omega, Ibushi, Hangman Page, and The Young Bucks take on PAC, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and Konosuke Takeshita. The match will emanate from the TD Garden in Boston on the July 19 Dynamite.
