Young Rock has been canceled after three seasons.
As reported by Katie Campione of Deadline, among others, NBC canceled the show. Its viewership dipped in the third season, and the numbers have declined since the first season. The third and final season of Young Rock premiered in November 2022, and it concluded in February.
Young Rock highlighted the life of former WWE star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and highlighted different parts of his life. Various wrestlers, including Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, the Iron Sheik, and Randy Savage, were portrayed in the show. WWE star Becky Lynch appeared as Cyndi Lauper during the third season.
Johnson, an executive producer, starred in the show, and the cast also included Joseph Lee Anderson, Stacey Leilua, Ana Tuisila, Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant, Uli Latukefu, Fasitua Amosa, John Tui and Matthew Willig, among others.
