- Juicy Finau hit a second rope moonsault on Crazy Frank to pick up the pinfall victory.
A recap video plays covering The Calling storyline that’s been taking place in Major League Wrestling for the better part of the last year.
It’s announced that based on the attack on Jacob Fatu by The Calling on MLW Underground that he’ll be out of action for a minimum of three weeks. Fatu’s match for the MLW National Openweight Championship remains guaranteed.
Alex Hammerstone is interviewed regarding his upcoming MLW World Heavyweight Title defense in Mexico against Danny Limelight. Hammerstone said he’s confident defending the title anywhere, and Limelight won’t be any different. He shifted his attention to Alex Kane and said that he’s stalling cashing in his title shot because he’s not ready for it.
When asked about The Calling and the injury to Jacob Fatu, Hammerstone gave his best wishes to Fatu and said The Calling are gonna get theirs.
We hear from Delmi Exo backstage, who says Taya Valkyrie talks a lot, but her time is up because she’s never messed with the God Queen.
A vignette airs hyping 1 Called Manders’ return to Major League Wrestling in the coming weeks on Fusion.
Willie Mack is interviewed backstage and makes it clear that he has his sights set on John Hennigan and the MLW National Openweight Championship.
The Second Gear Crew have a beer with Microman backstage after finding him coming out of the bathroom.
We are taken to an Alex Kane press conference in Atlanta where he claims he doesn’t know when he will challenge Hammerstone for the MLW World Heavyweight Title, but it will be decided by the people. They immediately follow this press conference by reminding us that Kane will get his title shot against Hammerstone on July 8 at Never Say Never on FITE+. Yes, this really happened.
Taya Valkyrie defeated Sexy Star, La Hiedra, and Dalys in a four-way match to retain the MLW World Women’s Featherweight Championship and the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship
- Taya Valkyrie hit Road to Valhalla on Sexy Star to score the pinfall victory and retain her titles.
