AEW Dynamite viewership saw an increase on May 10, which featured a steel cage match between Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley.
According to Showbuzz Daily, 877,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.32 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was up from last week’s episode when 776,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also increased from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.28 rating in the same demographic.
Despite the increase in viewership, Dynamite dropped to the ninth place spot in the demographic among cable originals overall Wednesday night. On cable, AEW Dynamite was mainly defeated by TNT’s coverage of the NBA Playoffs, ESPN’s coverage of the NHL Playoffs, and Vanderpump Rules on Bravo, according to Showbuzz Daily.
This week’s show kicked off with Claudio Castagnoli defeating Rey Fenix in a Double Jeopardy match. The main event of the evening saw Jon Moxley defeat Kenny Omega in a steel cage match thanks to Don Callis turning on Omega.
